I was asked to bake a 6 inch cake for the top of a cupcake tower. I decided to really jazz it up by making it a flower cake. The flowers are all hand made with butter cream. I added strawberry purée to the butter cream for added flavor. The cake is a strawberry cake. I cut 2 cupcakes in half and placed them on top of the cake to make the dome shape. The cupcakes are German Chocolate and key lime topped with matching hand made buttercream flowers.
This is a wonderfully delicious way to say welcome home to a soldier. Although it totally looks like a sheet cake, it’s actually made of strawberry cupcakes. Everything is edible. The dog tags are made of fondant which I spayed with silver edible color spray. The image is an edible image I designed and had printed at my local bakery. The letters are made of melted vanilla wafers and colored with edible spray and food color.
These are a delightful and delicious treat for a baby shower. The cupcakes are red velvet, Key Lime and strawberry. I made the fins by melting vanilla wafers and putting it into a mermaid fin mold. I used edible color spray and glitter to add additional colors.
These cupcakes are moist and delicious. The chocolate cupcakes are made with Hersheys Cocoa. The strawberry cupcakes are made with fresh strawberries baked in the cake and topped with creamy strawberry buttercream frosting.
These colorful Luau cupcakes make a nice theme for any occasion. These were made for a birthday party. I normally deliver my cupcakes in plastic containers but I could not fit the umbrellas inside the dome so I used a 14″ sheet cake box. I was surprised that it held exactly 36 cupcakes which was the amount I needed.
