These cupcakes are loaded with carrots. I have been experimenting with different piping tools and mixing colors for frosting cupcakes. I want the cupcakes to look noticeably different although a lot of the cupcakes have cream cheese frosting. I think I will also use a different piping tip for them next time I make them. Previously, I used larger gummy carrot pieces as toppers and I see that these mini candy carrots I used on these cupcakes are much smaller than I expected.
A friend of mine requested carrot cupcakes for her birthday. I had to jazz them up because it was for her birthday and she’s a jazzy lady.
I baked carrot cake cupcakes last night that made the house smell wonderful.
I had a few extra cupcakes so I decided to experiment with some colors and ideas. I had some key lime cake crumbs that I had frozen which I shaped into balls and dipped in chocolate. I added red food color to the extra cream cheese frosting. After frosting the cupcake, I topped it with the cake ball the added sprinkles.
